The US Senate on Friday voted to pass a bill to sanction Iran, including amendments to sanctions against Russia. According to the amendment, the United States will impose sanctions on a large number of Russian personnel. The bill will also impose sanctions on Russian mining, metals, transportation and railways. In addition, when the President of the United States tries to relax or terminate sanctions against Russia, Congress may initiate a review procedure under the amendment.
