    From January to April, the national crude steel production was 273.87 million tons, an increase of 4.6% over the same period last year, down 2.3%; steel production 357.83 million tons, up 1.7%, growth rate increased by 1.5 percentage points year on year. Coke production of 145.51 million tons, up 5.1% over the same period last year to 7.6% decline. Ferroalloy production of 11.21 million tons, an increase of 2.8%, an increase of 1.1 percentage points. Steel exports 27.21 million tons, down 25.8%; imports 4.56 million tons, an increase of 7.8%. Iron ore imports 353.09 million tons, an increase of 8.6%. Coke exports 2.75 million tons, down 25.8%.

    Steel price index has come down. In April, the domestic steel price index for the domestic market average of 95.48 points, down 9.86 points from the previous month, an increase of 17.06 points. 6.5mm high line, 20mm plate, 1.0mm cold rolled coil volume average price of 3540 yuan / ton, 3418 yuan / ton and 3968 yuan / ton, respectively, down 253 yuan / ton, 346 yuan / ton and 655 Yuan / ton, up 24%, 19.8% and 12%.
